Alpine Lake Kanas, located in the north of Altai Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, is not famous only with its vivid characteristics, for example, a length of 25 kilometers and rather large depth (in some places it reaches 285 meters), the magnificent nature of the surrounding landscape, but also a secret that states that in the abyss of this reservoir dragons still live – something like the famous Loch Ness monsters.

The monster of Lake Kanas, of course, is not so famous, but its like and Nessie, periodically seen by locals and tourists. For example, in vacationers shot video waves up to one meter high, which some huge underwater animal of Lake Kanas created. Naturally, many believed after that that in this deep-sea the pond is actually inhabited by the legendary Chinese dragon.

True, scientists believe that it could be just a huge taimen – fish of the salmon family, which reaches 15 meters in length and 3 tons in weight. However, where does such data come from, no one really knows as the biggest taimen ever caught was about 2 meters in length and weighed no more than 80 kilograms. Moreover, in Kanas didn’t catch even such large taimen, although meter waves only a 10-15 meter monster could raise, no less.
And the other day in the Chinese lake they again noticed and shot on video camera mysterious movement on the surface of the water. The author of this Wang Xin’an video tells:
It was clearly some kind of huge animal, perhaps like times the monster of this lake. Its parts are constantly shown above the water – I saw them very clearly, as if in front of me. All this is possible look at the video, but the camera is not able to convey the details, which the human eye notices. And because I’m one hundred percent sure that a real dragon surfaced on the surface of the pond. Many skeptics they want to imagine all this in the form of waves and reflection of glare from them, but note that these waves were moving unnaturally, against the main movement of water, they were clearly a consequence of floating on Kanasu of the legendary lake monster.

However, the director of the Kanas Wildlife Center, Sun Jidan, is right there stated that the video was just a large marine animal, rather all, the same taimen, of which there are many in the lake. That’s just for some reason no one can catch any of them enough large size (commensurate with the monster) throughout the history of this reservoir. It is also clear that the mysterious snake really almost impossible to catch (it’s somehow explainable), but; why big fish do not go on the net of anglers Kanasa, it’s pretty hard to explain.
