Popular Ural ufologist, conspiracy therapist and virtual archaeologist Valentin Degterev made an unusual find, considering satellite images of Roanoke Island in the US state of North Carolina and the body of water near it.
A bit of the history of Roanoke Island
In the 16th century, Roanoke becomes a British colony created by by decree of Elizabeth the First. The first 118 settlers arrived here in 1587 year and built in just a couple of months a protected fort. In the fortress not only men lived but also seventeen women and eleven children.

Only three years later, the new English expedition was able to get to the island of Roanoke, finding to his surprise the fort empty. Of all people disappeared without taking any property that is, the colonists simply disappeared, as if they had suddenly evaporated. Neither traces of the struggle, nor any signs by which something could be understand the British just did not find. The only thing that gave at least some kind of clue was mysterious carved on one of the trees “CRO”. But what this meant, no one knows to this day …

The search for the disappeared settlers, we note, continued for many years, however, did not give any results. Theories have been put forward that colonists were abducted by Indians, pirates or Spaniards. But neither one of the versions was never confirmed. The mystery of the British missing still remains unsolved, giving rise to various legends and speculation.

Valentin Degterev has his own version of what happened. The fact is, looking at the ocean’s aerial photo near Roanoke, a domestic researcher unexpectedly discovered 130 kilometers to gigantic structures similar to triangles and rectangles.

The author of the find reasonably believes that nature and man could not create such flat objects tens of kilometers long. By According to the ufologist, we are talking about an underwater base of aliens or alien starship resting at the bottom of the atlantic ocean already many hundreds or even thousands of years (by the way, in this area not far is the notorious Bermuda Triangle, so known for the mysterious disappearances of people).

And this very anomaly, as Degterev suggests, could become the reason for the disappearance of the British colonists from the island. Green little men “could very well have committed a mass abduction of earthlings with the aim of conduct experiments on them, or maybe just for relocation a small group of people to another planet. By the way, at the end of the XVI century felt that the devil took people, the difference with today’s definition – “the aliens took it” – not very significant …
