For the first time in history, scientists were able to capture a notch on the camera Tru – a toothed whale from the family of beaks. More precisely, scientists took off there are several individuals on the video, which can be considered real sensation. These animals living in the temperate waters of the Atlantic ocean and south indian are so rare that some researchers to this day have doubted their existence.
Tru’s chisels were discovered more than a century ago by American biologist Frederick True, who traveled in 1913 to tropical waters of the Atlantic. These are relatively large cetaceans. animals, adults of which have a length of three and a half to five meters. They differ in only two teeth located on the lower jaw, as well as the characteristic beak. Color of the Toothskin Hide varies from light gray to dark brown.

In recent decades, sailors have met these whales quite infrequently, but they never managed to even really take a picture, not to mention video recording. In the eighties it was believed that Tru’s lentes are two separate species, since found in two different oceans, and their habitats in no way touch each other.
The color of individuals of this species can vary greatly, as well as appearance of males and females. All this made it difficult and probably will continue to make it difficult for scientists to observe Tru’s lancet. Relative to the size of the population of these mammals in scientists there are only approximate assumptions. Many specialists consider that lanceslaws are at risk of extinction.
