There are many wonderful things in this world, and much of this is ours. an imperfect mind simply refuses to understand. Among these all kinds of optical illusions that seem simple fiction, although in reality such a “joke” with our consciousness plays the very imperfection of our perception of this of the world.
It is on the basis of such an illusion that a new “focus” is built Japanese psychologist Akioshi Kitaoka who published this funny video that has become not just viral, but even, according to some users literally “blew up” their mind.
At first glance, the focus is very simple. On a sheet of paper with depicting a black and white gradient, the scientist puts a small a gray square and starts to move it left-right, then there is a translation in the black, then in the white region.
Depending on the background, the human mind perceives gray a small square as if “alive”, capable of changing its own color. The psychologist Kitaoka himself explains this very simply: the color is gray pieces of paper does not actually change, but the human the perception of its color, depending on the changing background.
