Russia enters 2015 with a new list of the most important, vital essential drugs, but now it is oriented mainly on domestic medicines.
A new list of such drugs will replenish this year 52 drugs, and in all it includes more than six hundred medicines with prices regulated by the state. According to the Minister health care RF Skvortsova, almost seventy percent of these drugs are produced in Russia itself or localized in the Russian Federation productions. This ensures a relatively low and, most importantly, stable prices for medicines, and without any dependence on fluctuations in the dollar, euro.
Imported drugs today are getting more expensive every day, for example, for the last six months, such a price increase was observed at a level of 30-40 percent. Prices for Russian medicines also increased slightly. Such a slight increase in price is primarily due to the fact that in the domestic production of individual drugs foreign ingredients are used. So live without drugs import production is completely impossible yet.
The Russian Ministry of Health assured that today’s drug prices for citizens of the preferential category as a whole will remain at the level of past years.
