On Sunday, January 6, in many parts of Asia it was possible observe a partial solar eclipse. Moon in new moon phase then obscured a fragment of the solar disk – and that was how Witnesses claim to be a very startling sight.

The shot was taken in Beijing by local photographer Lee. Zhaoqi, who accidentally introduced himself as amazing perspective for capturing a rare astronomical phenomenon. On the in the foreground of the frame is the Wanchun Tourism Pavilion, located on a hill in the central part of the capital of China and made in the style of classical Chinese architecture. In the pavilion in the morning gathered the curious, who wanted to see with their own eyes eclipse.
