In the late 1930s, rumors of mysterious rumors circulated around Moscow. events in the Don crematorium. Their direct participants like was taken at that sinister time, arrested and sent to camps as unnecessary witnesses.

Just on the night when the next batch of special corpses was delivered, “labor shift” was carried by three employees of the crematorium, led by a certain Gregory, a young guy who was not yet thirty. Somewhere at the first hour of the night they raked out the ashes of the next burnt, they threw coal there and pushed a new corpse.

That’s when it all started. Gregory standing by the stove heard how something crunched in her. The sound was unusual. Nothing like this the guy never heard here. You might have thought that a dead man came to life and tossing and turning.

He called for helpers. Those were also surprised. And then suddenly in the metal damper of the furnace loudly knocked from the inside. All broken sweat. We rushed upstairs where at that time escorted corpses were drinking tea NKVD-shniki. Reported to them about strange sounds. They went downstairs. AND then the throttle started pounding again.

In the furnace there was a small window, a hole through which you can was to see how the dead man burns. The eldest from the NKVD-shnikov got a gun, put a finger on the trigger, went to the hole, looked in. At that moment, it hit with such force that it flew off at meter.

All together rushed away. The cellar door was locked. With a fright they called the police. Only then they realized that this should not be done. followed: extra witnesses. Arrived police also heard blows.

It knocked for thirty minutes, then calming down, now intensifying. The furnace was opened NKVD-shniki urgently called from the Lubyanka. By their arrival, the sounds are already fell silent. In the furnace from the “abnormal” deceased remained one ashes.

From the conversations of the NKVD employees, crematorium workers learned that the corpse that “knocked” belonged to the head of some religious sects. It’s possible that this man possessed a magical gift, which allowed him to be a bit of a zombie after death.
