International Space Station project likely to lose participation and support of Russia. Representatives of Roscosmos say that in its current form, the ISS is passed for our country stage.
By the end of this year, the Federal Space Agency will prepare materials for the deployment of its own space station and transfer them to the Russian government. Supposed that an orbital station belonging to the Russian Federation may appear already in 2017 year.
The development of astronautics, as many people know, has never been solely a matter of the industry. The political aspect is always played an important role, and even during the Cold War dominant. Thus, in the next two to four years, our country may deploy your own station in near-Earth space with orbital inclination of 64.8 degrees. Original spacecraft will be formed from a multi-purpose laboratory module, nodal module, autonomous technological module, unmanned cargo spacecraft Progress and spacecraft Soyuz MS-01 for transportation to crew station and cargo.
If everything works out as our scientists plan, the Russian a station with a high latitude orbit will turn out to be more functional and safer than the ISS. Moreover, the Federal Space Agency claim that such a project will not be burdensome for state budget, since all technologies are already practically developed domestic experts, it remains only to bring them to mind and put together.
In a word, there would be no happiness, but misfortune helped. Russia and America wants to stop depending on each other in a question space industry, and growing political friction only pushing both superpowers to an early resolution to this problem. Apparently, the Russian Federation is already doing everything to be able to conquer outer space on your own without anyone help.
