However, apparently The State Duma of the Russian Federation decided to finish it in its infancy, as it prepares bill on the installation of the EGAIS (information system for monitoring production, storage and sale of beer) at each beer production, including small enterprises that produce it no more than three hundred thousand decalitres per year (just in such mini-breweries and brewed craft beer and some other lively alcohol, say, mead).
The fact is that EGAIS equipment will require investment million rubles, plus significant monthly expenses for maintenance of this information control system. As he says Alexei Nebolsin, member of the Presidium of Russia Presidium; majority small entrepreneurs who today are engaged in the production of living beer, just do not pull such a financial burden and curtailed production. And the industry will disappear from the segment of the Russian economy even not yet formed as it should.
According to statistics, today about eight hundred work in the Russian Federation mini-breweries producing fine craft beer – lively and beneficial to human health. After accepting a new the bill, which is already undergoing a second reading in the State Duma, most of these small businesses will simply close.
