Looking at these works of a talented sculptor, not even I believe that they are made of ordinary sand and water – so much thoroughly, skillfully and originally completed these works.
Among the sandy works of the brilliant artist Ray Villafeyn there are those from which it is difficult to take your eyes off. This, for example, The Devil (based on Dante’s Divine Comedy), a series of sculptures “Indians”, a unique composition “Birth of Jesus”, “Squad” and much more.
Artist and sculptor Ray Villafeyn first touched this interesting art – the creation of sand sculptures – only in 2008 year, then speaking at a competition that took place in Italy (city Jesolo). Moreover, he performed so well that he has since been invited to all the famous world festivals and competitions of a similar plan. Yes and Ray himself says that he can no longer live without this affair.

But on the other hand, the world is widely developed and snow, ice sculpture and architecture, which are also not distinguished by a long life on earth. However for aesthetic enjoyment of this beauty and admiration for her talent creators, such a short time is sometimes enough. By moreover, a certain temporality of such works, says Rei himself, leads to the constant birth of something new, hitherto not revealed or not understood by the artist himself, and therefore not seen so far by the grateful spectator.
