Austrian scientists have found that the development of schizophrenia has direct connection with the month of birth. High probability of development this disease in people who in infancy lacked vitamin D. This conclusion was made by scientists of the University Queensland.

Researchers conducted an experiment with 2602 volunteers, in the result of which a connection was found between the lack of solar light and an increased risk of schizophrenia.

People who already suffered from this at the beginning of the experiment diseases born in the winter months or spring, that is, in that the period when children receive vitamin D.

At the same time, scientists noted that the detected factor is not the only one that leads to the development of schizophrenia. So in avoid the risk of getting sick, get out more often, get sunbathe and breathe fresh air. By the way, the sunlight although not in large numbers, however, it penetrates through the clouds. Some people even managed to sunbathe in such conditions.
