California scientists (Irvine, USA) found that huge the amount of nanoparticles in the atmosphere is actually are mushroom spores. These same disputes directly participate in the formation of clouds, and are also able to cause in people allergies and asthma. This was reported by the information publication Science Alert.
Back in 2016 in Oklahoma, scientists for one month investigated particles in the atmosphere. For analysis was used a special device that captured particles 20-50 nanometers in diameter and kept them on the thinnest platinum threads. As a result of the evaporation of molecules, the device analyzed released gases, thereby finding out the chemical composition of the particles.
Scientists report that mushroom spores in the atmosphere absorb water and then swell and burst into the tiniest particles up to 40 nanometers in size. It is much smaller than usual. cells with dimensions of about 1000 nanometers. The smallest particle sizes allow them to penetrate easily and deeply into lungs. Scientists believe that the allergenicity of these particles explains why do some people suffer from asthma attacks during rains.
According to researchers, nanoparticles act as nuclei, to which adjoin water molecules, thereby forming ice crystals, forming further clouds.
Previously, researchers from the University of Miami found that mushrooms they can rain, and it’s not about any mysticism, and about the unique biological ability of these amazing organisms.
