Thanks to newly developed software, people will be able to understand what the dogs are “talking” about.

Hungarian scientists come up with a system that can decode dog barking by analyzing volume, length and height every single sound made by an animal. Software software uses a complex set of algorithms to determine not not only what the dog “talks” about, but can also be based on analysis emitted sounds determine her age and gender.

While working on this translator program, scientists analyzed the barking sounds of more than 800 dogs, many of which were investigated in a variety of rather unusual situations. TO for example, dogs unfamiliar to trees tied to a tree people, and scientists recorded dogs barking for further analysis. IN As a result, experts concluded that when a dog becomes scared, she barks much faster and louder, while the dog experiencing loneliness – it makes more deaf and slow sounds. When a stranger approaches the dog, her barking becomes distinct deep, fast and aggressive.

It is believed that new software may be especially useful for veterinarians and dog shelter workers, since the translation program can be used to diagnosis of the condition of the animal. But for ordinary dog owners, this technology will not be affordable, so, most likely, in the near future time we will not see this new product lying on a shelf in the store and awaiting its buyer.

No less interesting is the question – how do dogs understand people?
