According to cryptozoologists, there is a huge many creatures not known to official science, but no more miserable and ridiculous cryptid than squonk.
According to legend, this is a sad and very harmless animal lives in coniferous tsugovye forests in the north of the US state Pennsylvania. They talked about squonk for the first time at the end of the 19th century, when in the local forest industry there was an unprecedented rise.

According to the legend, the squonk has bare flabby skin covered with numerous growths, spots and warts. This intelligent creature is beautiful. realizes its ugliness and tries to hide from strangers eye. It leads a solitary life in the depths of the forests and constantly crying because of his disgusting appearance. At least so narrate legends. The animal is herbivorous and feeds on plants, berries, mushrooms, nuts, cones.

They say that the tears of squandering have healing properties and cure almost any ailments. There is even a belief that if a person will constantly drink tears of squonk, then he will be able to live forever.

However, many hunters who tried to catch a squonk, claimed that, being cornered, the animal simply dissolves in its tears and disappears. Some Jack Ventling from Bradford said that he still managed to catch the beast and throw it in the bag, but after a while the bag unexpectedly lost weight, but inside it was nothing but moisture on the bottom. Of course, this one sounds quite like pure mysticism, therefore, many cryptozoologists do not too believe in this supernatural quality of squonk. But what’s noteworthy: so far no one has been able to catch a crying cryptid, or even shoot or at least shoot on a camera and camcorder.
