About 3 thousand residents of the Kaliningrad region were left without electricity due to a stork and beavers, Interfax reports with reference to the local power company. The behavior of these animals led to several accidents. The first accident occurred on Friday morning at Mamonovsky district of the region, which borders with Poland. Power supply to 34 transformer substations was disrupted A stork sitting on a power line. After that, the bird itself died, and residents of several villages with a total of about two thousand people were left without light. In the same area after a few hours a second accident occurred. This time on power lines a tree fell, which the beavers smashed. As a result of actions about 600 people lost their electricity. To eliminate the consequences of both accidents the repairmen took about two hours.
