Remember the cartoon “Up” where the protagonist tied to his house thousands of balloons to lift it into the air and to go on a trip?
38-year-old British traveler Tom Morgan from Bristol decided perform a similar trick. Using a hundred helium-filled balloons, he flew into the sky in a folding chair, reaching a height of 2.4 kilometers.
The Englishman and his assistants from Adventurers, two days filling balls with volatile gas so Morgan could come off from land near the south african city of Johannesburg. Before the British tried to do this in Botswana, but faced with insurmountable difficulties due to the weather. However, this time everything went just perfect.
