The Dutch carpenter, frightened by his nightmare, created the real “Noah’s Ark”: a man carefully studied the Bible to comply with all dimensions of the vessel to the last elbow.
In 1992, Johan Hubers had a nightmare: a carpenter saw how streams of water wash off the face of the earth the Netherlands. Johan converted his elbows to feet and got the size of his future product. As a result of many years of work, Huber created real “Noah’s Ark”: using a pine board, the carpenter built ship 427 feet (130 meters) long, 95 feet (29 meters) in diameter and a height of 75 feet (23 meters). The weight of a huge ship is about 3 tons.

“Johan’s Ark” moored in the city of Dordrecht, well visible from nearby highways, so the ship’s owner daily receives crowds of curious visitors. To match the ark to his destination, the carpenter placed stuffed animals in the hold of the vessel plastic animals such as buffalos, zebras, gorillas, lions, tigers and bears.
