The last message about a meeting with a huge cat came from a certain Ann Terranova, who, together with her friend, was relaxing in nature, strolling through the Cotswold conservation area of Gloucestershire as suddenly the attention of the British was drawn to an animal, obviously of a feline breed. Moreover, this cat was very large: to evaluate its size was not difficult, says the Englishwoman, despite the relatively large distance.
Anne thought that this cougar, although where did she come from in these places, a woman has no idea. Her friend is less categorical in determining the type of animal, but I agree that it was rather big, had a brown coat color and moved in large leaps. Couple even tried to shoot a mysterious cat on video, but their cameras gadgets were weak for such a remote shooting.
To the surprise of Internet users, animals similar to cougar, in this county met before, this can be found messages on Facebook page dedicated to the city of Neilsworth: it is in its vicinity that large cats most often appear. Here what Frank Tunbridge writes about this – an English explorer of wild feline:
I hear about big cats in Gloucestershire over the course of 25 years, cougars have been seen here at least once in two to three months (according to information coming to me). And more often total (more than 30 percent) wild cats come close to the city of Neilsworth. I have only one version, where in this Cougars appeared in the county: in the late seventies of the past century, a law was passed banning the maintenance of the house of wild animals. As far as I know, cougars were favorite “pets” among lovers of exotic. I expected many of them after this law. sad fate – the animals were simply thrown into the wild, to which they were not fitted. Most of these large cats died, but some part survived, and today we meet the descendants of those discarded cougars …
Frank’s version of how cougars became legal residents Gloucestershire, and the assurances of the scientist that they should not be scared, many to Internet users seemed not quite plausible and somewhat weird. Rather, such cases relate to cryptozoologists, commentators of this news are convinced, these are the most real phantom cats commonly found in places where such species do not live. How do they appear in England (real or is it just their projection in space), nobody really knows. Cases of meeting with cougars in Gloucestershire only confirms this theory: animals are seen only from afar, they never come close to people and, most importantly, do not represent for human danger – here in this (and only in this) Frank Tunbridge right …
