Newlyweds of the American city of Alexandria in Virginia decided to get married in an old torpedo factory. But happened little trouble. When Harry Stein and Liz Copland with twenty-two guests went up to the second floor in a roomy industrial elevator, and he suddenly stopped moving.
The bride and groom instantly called the rescue service, however, it took about three hours before being captured in the lift people freed. True, by that time the lovers were already full husband and wife.
As soon as the elevator stopped, Harry immediately began to panic, fearing that such a nuisance will ruin the holiday and its mood darlings, however Liz, being by nature an avid optimist, even I did not think to lose heart. When one and a half hours of waiting, the girl in a thought suddenly came to my head that many people would call really crazy. The bride told her lover that You can get married right in the elevator. The young man was taken aback by this proposals, however, did not refuse – so much Liz fired up with this desire. Those present unanimously supported unusual idea.
Fortunately, a priest rode in the lift, who joyfully performed his duties and held a wedding ceremony. Guests there were several bottles of champagne and sweets, however everyone had to feast on without glasses and cutlery. Not however, no one objected at all to this. Guests sang newly made spouses, they threw the newlyweds into the air and made a lot of photos.
As a result, an impromptu wedding was so fun that none of those present, including Harry and Liz, regretted the breakdown of the elevator. When rescuers freed the Americans, everyone looked very joyful and satisfied. The wedding ceremony in the factory was canceled, the newlyweds together with the guests immediately went on a boat trip along the river.
Liz shared with reporters: “True love is most dear to the light. If you really love a person, you will be glad getting married to him at least in a landfill. And if there are no feelings, then no magnificent ceremony will awaken them. In a word, Harry and I no regrets. And one more thing: the most amazing things happen in life when you don’t plan them. ”
