It may seem strange and surprising, but the mayor of a small French town Briollet Henri Marchand issued a unique decree, according to which mosquitoes in his department are prohibited.

This is exactly the situation in Briall, why the townspeople literally did not allow the mayor to pass, requiring him to accept some measures against bloodsucking insects. And the head of the city, after all, banned mosquitoes.
This, of course, is a funny decision, almost a joke, Henri Marchand confesses to journalists, but thanks to her I clearly gave understand his fellow citizens that he is powerless in the fight against mosquitoes, with their the invasion, which is due to Mother Nature herself. Many city dwellers immediately understood this joke, its meaning and purpose – and they stopped calling me about this.
