Despite the fact that now almost every educated person knows that consciousness possesses exclusively all living things, including and trees, the attitude towards them as a whole remains barbaric and not quite good. You can often watch people cut down trees before home because their thick crowns obscure the windows. Cut down and … blinds are hung on the windows right there.
In this regard, for some reason, the most lonely tree in the world is remembered – Acacia tener, which has stood for more than three hundred years in the desert Sahara (Niger) surrounded by only endless sands – to the nearest another tree was almost four hundred kilometers. The tener tree in 1930, scientists who determined her age and became interested even the reasons for survival in the bare desert. Acacia just got lucky as she groped a moisture zone with her roots, while all its brethren mercilessly “eaten” the desert, turning into dust.
But even here in the desert I found a lonely acacia for hundreds of kilometers barbarian’s hand: in 1973 she was hit by a drunk truck driver. The remains of the lonely Tener are now resting in a specially built for her a mausoleum (city of Naimei). And at the place of its growth, people erected a monument in the form of the Tener Tree itself.
