A video is gaining popularity on the Internet, like in Japan monkeys are moving through a snowy field through electric wires, so as not to expose yourself to unpleasant sensations, overcoming this cold hedge on foot.
The video was shot by a woman who watched so amazing quick-witted macaques near the city of Mutsu. Japanese herself was amazed seen no less than hundreds of thousands of Internet users, some of which (judging by the comments) did not even know that monkeys in the Land of the Rising Sun face such natural phenomena like winter, snow, frost. And others do not imagined that such a thing was possible at all, since they believed that monkeys live only in warm Africa and in southern Asian countries.
It is striking in this situation that Japanese macaques are endowed with nature with thick and warm coat, why are they so afraid of snow? Of course, we can assume that the path seemed to them by wire easier than through the snowy tundra. But it’s not really So.
For example, tourists are very fond of watching macaques in Japan bathe in hot springs. And the monkeys are really simple they love to bask in the thermal hot water in winter, sometimes without getting out for hours (see video below). Given this, more supposedly the wires they chose to cross snowy fields because of the cold, and not because of excessive physical activity. In any case, well done! Animals have proven that they are no worse than humans can choose the best options solutions to any problems, even the most complex …
