And among all this splendor there is a lake with a real “hole”. Yet from far away the traveler who accidentally got here seems to be somewhere the waterfall is noisy, but when it rushes to this drain, then, in ultimately, from the top of the hill he sees something amazing, almost frightening: the lake in which the huge funnel is located. However, no fiction or even any natural anomaly not here at all. The hole in the lake is artificial, since reservoir – Konchos reservoir of the Lagoa Komprida hydroelectric power station. A the “terrible funnel” in it is just a hydraulic drain excess water. Therefore, the funnel in the lake is far from constant, in winter and in the summer it can hardly be seen here, but in the spring, when in the mountains snow melts and water rushes down, overflowing local lakes, including including this reservoir, it shows such a fantastic, simply bewitching whirlpool.
