Nearly half a century ago, a resident of Turkey named Abdullah Kozan turned to one of the hospitals in Bursa’s hometown, complaining to doctors of severe headaches. Turk was then only twenty three years. As a result, the man spent on treatment in this medical facility for the rest of his life. The other day unusual patient has passed away.
In 1968, Abdullah Kozan served in the Turkish army and returned home, starting to suffer from intense headache. Young a person was cured over time, however, without relatives and friends, he was so close to the hospital staff that he didn’t want to write out. Compassionate doctors began to find a new Turk disease, as a result of which he remained in the hospital. The man, among other things, he was very poor, so he just had to go nowhere to go.
Twenty years ago, Kozan was diagnosed with asthma and diabetes, thanks to which he received the so-called green card, which is social allowance for the most disadvantaged citizens of Turkey. Doctors and nurses not without joy realized that their beloved patient unlikely to ever leave them. Abdullah noted in the hospital New year, birthdays and all national holidays, watching the world through small window of the chamber. However, according to staff, a man always distinguished by optimism and good mood, therefore hardly such a lifestyle was a burden for him.
During his life, a man repeatedly admitted that he does not represent its existence outside the walls of the hospital. Apparently, for him it was real happiness to be in an atmosphere of long, soaked smells of medicine corridors, white rooms and medical staff, ready at any time to come to the aid of the patient. Abdullah died at the age of seventy from coronary heart disease, caused by diabetes.
