Fans to tickle the nerves in the near future should pay a visit to Switzerland. There opened a new “attraction” – a suspension bridge, claiming the title of the worst in the world, reports CBS News. The Titlis Cliff Walk Bridge is located on Mount Titlis at altitude of more than three thousand meters above sea level. It is believed that this the highest suspension bridge in Europe. For comparison, the height another famous suspension bridge in Switzerland – Trift Bridge – is only 100 meters away.

The structure offers an unforgettable view of the Swiss Alps, and in clear weather you can even see the “edge” of Italy. However, during the opening of the bridge there was an overlay – a snowstorm began and visibility dropped to a few meters, which in turn affected the entertainment of the event. Construction Titlis Cliff Walk took only five months. The cost of work amounted to one million pounds. The resulting structure is almost 100 meters long, and less than one meter wide.

Moreover, the bridge is so strong that, according to builders, it can withstand the weight of approximately 500 tons of snow and the strongest gusts of wind, which at this height can reach 200 kilometers per hour. However, officials promise that, if necessary, the bridge will be clean. In addition, they count as the most popular the bridge will still be used in the summer, although now interest among tourists is huge.
