The famous creator of the incandescent lamp that we use (even less) to this day, Thomas Edison once wanted design a phone for communicating with perfumes. The other day was published an still unknown chapter from the diary of the inventor, in which the scientist shared his plans to create a “duhofon” – a special device that connects living people with the afterlife and allowing them to speak with the dead without spiritualistic sessions.

Edison really made attempts to create a similar apparatus, oh as evidenced by the entries in his memoirs, which are scientists themselves were called “Diary and Sundry Observations,” which translates from English can be read as “Diary and observations of every “” Edison’s memoirs were published in 1948, after the death of the creator of the light bulb. Their last chapter, in which was talking about the occult experiments of the scientist, was not included in English edition, but a year later it was published in France and hit the book about Thomas Edison, published in March 2015.

In this chapter we learn that the scientist even concluded an agreement with his colleague William Dinuiddy, which was to that, the one who dies first will be sure to contact others by “duhofon”.

The man who posted these entertaining notes of American inventor, Philippe Baudouin, remarked that, apparently, Edison, being a scientist and one of the most advanced minds of his time, not only believed in ghosts and the non-material side of our being, but and was firmly convinced that the spirits would not refuse to speak with him “duhofon”, and that to establish a connection between the two worlds – a problem quite solvable.
