Chicago scientists assure: between month of birth and opportunity to live to 100 years is a regularity. This has been proven by the fact: those born in the fall have a higher chance of becoming a long-liver. TO after many years of research, the authors of this discovery came to this conclusion. – Natalia and Leonid Gavrilov, now working in Chicago University, writes pc-news.info. They reported their discovery on American Demographic Society’s annual congress in San Francisco. Researchers have analyzed data on more than 1,5 thousand people who have lived a hundred or more years. All these people studies were born in the United States between 1880 and 1895 years. As a result, it became clear that the largest number centenarians was born between September and November inclusive, and the least – in March, May and July. The Gavrilovs also found that discovered relationship of month of birth with life expectancy turned out to be more pronounced for people who were born from 1880 to 1889 year. Scientists have put forward several hypotheses that explain this phenomenon. According to one version, children born in the fall, had a much lower risk of contracting summer infectious diseases. And these diseases usually carry long-term negative effects on the human body. Among other versions – good nutrition for mothers whose children were born in autumn.
