– Lightning fell into a group of people passing near the Assumption church, around eight o’clock in the evening on June 15, – reported law enforcement agencies.
Emergency doctors arrived to state the death of 29-year-old Roman Chizhov.
Injuries from a powerful electric shock were also received by 27-year-old Cyril Volkov and 32-year-old Daniil Zgonnikov. Both young men with the diagnosis of “lightning strike” hospitalized in the district the hospital.
That day, friends went from a stuffy capital to swim in a pond in the village of Old Kuzminki. Around 7 p.m., the weather began to deteriorate, and the guys gathered back to Moscow. On the way to stop them caught a thunderstorm.
– They first waited for the rain under the tree, and when the thunder subsided, came out, and at that moment lightning flashed, – said the father victim Sergey Zgonnikov. – All three fell to the ground and even threw three meters. The 29-year-old Roman, on whom clothes burst with a flash of lightning, tried to save the rector of the Assumption Church, father Vladimir.
– One fell right there, the other two fell, but then woke up and come to my church, ”the priest told Life News. – I’m like confessed after the service. When the last person confessed – terrible discharges of thunder were heard. I also wanted to close the window, I thought, suddenly ball lightning flies.
Bloodied Daniel and Cyril approached the priest and reported him that their friend was killed by lightning.
– He was lying on the road. He was stripped to the waist because they walked with swimming. And the shorts are torn to shreds. They called an ambulance asked what to do. They told us – heart massage, – continues father Vladimir. – Tried to bring him to life, but not happened. At first it was dark, as if charred. When did massage, it passed, but he did not breathe and his pupils did not reacted to light.
Arriving at the place in about 20 minutes, the ambulance doctors said the priest and the comrades of the deceased that it was impossible to save Roman – The discharge was too strong.
– To my shame, I do not know if it was possible to do something, – lamented father Vladimir. – Someone says that there are some stun guns that the heart can make, but we don’t could.
The surviving Daniil Zgonnikov went to work on Monday. how it turned out that the injuries he received were not serious.
– We are a company of seven people rested on the lake. Part of the guys I left by car, and the three of us planned to get to Moscow by by train, ”says Daniel. – When they went back, they saw that there is a terrible cloud, they wanted to get there quickly.
The rain caught the guys halfway. Guys walked ankle-deep in water, when they were suddenly scattered in different directions.
– At first I did not understand what happened. Only then I realized that it was lightning, admitted Daniel.
When asked what he thinks of a strange set of circumstances and about shock of heaven near the church itself, a young man replied that all the guys from their company are pagans and worship ancient Slavic deities.
