In connection with the approach of Halloween in the United States conducted a large-scale survey, designed to determine how many people in the United States believe in supernatural and what kind of paranormal Americans consider quite real, that is, existing in our physical reality.

52.3% of respondents believe that in certain places ghosts and poltergeist can settle.
35% are of the opinion that aliens visited our planet in antiquities.
26.2% think that aliens fly to Earth and in our days, if not even present near us constantly.
25% are convinced that some people have telekinesis, that is, they are capable of moving objects with the power of thought.
22.1% call true the existence of witchcraft and of magic.
19.4% believe that predictors and psychics can look into the future.
16% say that Bigfoot, Chupacabra and others Mysterious animals are real.
11% consider fairies, gnomes, trolls and others to be real mythical creatures.
The survey also showed that the largest number of such believers in supernatural manifestations in our lives fall on women, unmarried, low-income, religious and conservative citizens, as well as residents of rural areas and ethnic minorities.
