Today, even orthodox scholars have come to understand that time not as straightforward and unchanging as it was represented in last century. Moreover, time can behave differently, changing its direction, stretching or, conversely, accelerating not only in space, with some kind of universal cataclysms or fantastic speeds, but also on Earth, it would seem, in the most ordinary setting.
But if scientists are trying to find the key to time, learn manage it (the time machine doesn’t seem so fantastic), ordinary citizens of the Earth often just face temporary “miracles” that do not fit into the framework of logic and physical laws. And this proves once again that time is only one of dimensions of our world, moreover flexible and constantly changing.
It’s enough for each of us to recall how painfully the time stretches, when we are waiting for someone or something, and how it literally flies when we’re late somewhere. Time, like some kind of intelligent entity, starts to play and even mock if we try it artificially adjust or slow down.
But when a person gets into some extreme situations, he even seems to be subject to time. There are many descriptions (oral stories even more) when car drivers broke into the future and saw that at an approaching intersection an accident awaits them, so they avoided it and remained alive.
Sometimes man is subject to time
The paratrooper Konakov in the nineties of the last century told viewers as he fell from a height of forty meters, and only thanks to some fantastic time dilation at the moment of this fall, he managed to group and land correctly, miraculously left safe and sound.
The paratrooper’s story described even more seems in 1992 in the newspaper “Propeller”. He was carried along with a parachute on high voltage line, and when no more than a meter is left to the wires, and death seemed already inevitable, time suddenly stopped. The man felt it as if hung in the air, however there was no above it nothing for which the parachute can catch. Moreover, people running below, who clearly saw what a person is carrying on wires, and therefore hurrying to the scene of the disaster, also froze and hung above the ground. And then the paratrooper remembered everything that he was taught, and with force began to pull the slings, after which the parachute led to the side. He doesn’t remember anything else. The people who ran up later told him that he managed to deviate from the high-voltage line and landed safely, and then sat on the ground with open eyes and did not understand anything, apparently could not recover from shock.

And how do you like this case: in 1974 climber Sergey Ratnikov in the Tien Shan mountains almost fell into the abyss and began to fall, however, his brother’s outstretched hand saved him, although at a time when Sergei broke, his brother was two or three dozen meters from him. How he managed to overcome them in a split second, one can only be surprised. But time stopped, brother remembered all this as if Sergey hung over the abyss, which allowed him to run up and practically catch the poor fellow already in the air.
