Who does not know that many birds prey on fish, and some of them swim on the surface of the sea, looking for prey, others catch fish, as they say, on the fly, snatching it straight from the water in flight.
However, it turns out, it happens the other way around, when predatory fish prey on floating and even birds flying over water. By this different, for example, giant trevally (karangs) – predator, which can be called a real thunderstorm for sea birds.

This is a fish of very impressive size, reaching almost two meters in length and up to one hundred kilograms of weight, which makes it very a tempting trophy for anglers.

At the same time, such a monster develops tremendous speed in the water and easily jumps into the air, catching birds on the fly. Do not mind karangs sneak up on floating birds, catching them by surprise.
By the way, for a long time all the talk about hunting this predatory fish for people perceived birds as fishing fables, but completely recently managed to make a wonderful video (see below) some moments of such a hunt – giant trevally on waterfowl birds.
Note that the karangs prefers to hunt alone, however sometimes, according to experts, these predators suddenly (reason scientists have not yet established such a metamorphosis) knock together in huge flocks reaching several thousand goals. And then similar the army of predators becomes very dangerous for many inhabitants seas and oceans, including for dolphins, individual individuals which giant trevally can drive into a corner and eat in a few minutes.
