Nicholas Reeves, considered one of the most respected Egyptologists of the world, recently became famous for loud statements regarding Pharaoh Tutankhamun and everything related to his burial.

According to the British Egyptologist, the mask was made for Nefertiti, but then for some reason she was not put on the face of the deceased queens, and put in the vault, and then, remaking, already used to decorate Tutankhamun himself.
Some scientists believe that, most likely, this mask was just removed from Nefertiti, and her tomb is walled up.
