The American company Airbnb, bringing together landlords and real estate tenants in many parts of the world, decided organize an unusual contest. The two lucky ones will get the opportunity to celebrate the coming Halloween in a gothic castle Bran, located on the border of the Romanian regions of Transylvania and Muntenia.

Bran, as you know, is a prototype of the home of Count Dracula from Irish Bram Stoker’s famous novel. According to the legends the real Count of Dracula, Vlad Tepes, repeatedly stopped here during his hikes and was very fond of hunting in the forests, surrounding the castle. In short, the best place to celebrate the great night before All Saints Day can hardly be found.

In the dining room, Dycker Stocker will tell visitors stories about Vlad Tepes and his bloody deeds. For example, about how the prince of Wallachia planted his enemies alive on pointed stakes and I watched with pleasure as they suffer for days in agony, until the count comes out of their mouth or shoulder. It is believed that it is because of such inhuman cruelty, Tepes’s soul was cursed, and he himself turned into a vampire, eating exclusively human blood.
