This device was invented at the University of Tokyo. It has type of dressing 30 cm long and 18 cm wide. The sensor works on organic elements, it is self-powered (solar panels) and has a sound alert device.

The sensor is designed to track body temperature and frequency human heart rate, which are quite important signals organism.

Conventional sensors based on hard components, for a number of reasons, patients and doctors are not happy. Japanese scientists created a very cheap and, most importantly, wireless device, which is not no maintenance and ever troubled external energy source. Organic components devices can be printed on a polymer film using inkjet printer.

The bandage is planned to be presented at the event – 2015 IEEE International Solid State Circuits Conference, which the other day will be held in San Francisco.
