Unusual aurora recognized as result cracks in the magnetosphere

The unusual aurora was recognized as the result of a crack in the magnetosphere.A photo from open sources

February 14, Swedish photographer Oliver Wright captured the polar all around amazing aurora borealis, similar to something from science fiction movie.

By turning on the video below, you can see it a striking phenomenon with my own eyes. Wright reports that he photographed him in the village of Abisku. According to the photographer, he was speechless when in a giant “mystical” semicircle suddenly appeared in the sky, iridescent shades of green and purple. Oliver long ago is engaged in amateur research of arctic lights, however he had never seen anything like it before.

Many meteorologists and other specialists familiar with this roller, it was thought that the geomagnetic storm was to blame. Some experts suggest that the Earth’s magnetosphere formed a kind of large “crack”, which led to the emergence of this a miracle. The pinkish-colored dynamic swirls of radiance were caused by energy particles incredibly high in the atmosphere. There they interacted with nitrogen molecules, which gave the aurora such an unusual look. Some World Wide Web users even decided that it was about alien tricks.

Although this fantastic video just shows how our planet is amazing and incomprehensible, beautiful and fabulously rich for all kinds of miracles, both natural, that is, purely earthly, and space – almost divine …
