Throughout the past week on the shores of Lake Michigan giant ice blocks the size of a basketball appeared. The weight of some of them reached 35 kilograms. Specialists argue that something like this happens much more often than once at ten years old, however the appearance of such large balls put them in dead end.
Rounded objects are formed gradually and initially represent pieces of ice that roll back and forth in waves and slowly but surely increase in size in cold water. “The great lakes create their own weather,” says an employee Linga Myers Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore National Park. Great Lakes are located in North America, in the United States and Of Canada. Lake Michigan is the only one that is entirely located in the United States.
