Hivon Ngetik from Kenya at the Austin City Marathon (USA) demonstrated incredible human abilities – not only a decent result, but also an unbending will to win.
It so happened that the forces left a twenty-nine-year-old runner just before the finish – just fifty meters away. Since by she would be disqualified from the rules of the marathon if did not finish, the girl, having gathered her last strength, overcame this distance on all fours.
It should be noted that Khivon throughout the marathon was in the number of leaders, and at the finish line, it seemed to her no equal. This allowed the Kenyan runner, despite being so slow finish, still take an honorable third place in this race – her the result is 3 hours 4 minutes 2 seconds.
The first place of the winner of the marathon went to Cynthia Jerop (Kenya) – her result is 2 hours 54 minutes 22 seconds. As we see, she slightly ahead of Hivon Ngetik, despite the fact that the latter to almost reached the finish line, but almost crawled. What power will!
