American mathematician Aaron Clauset, working in Colorado University, made a curious statement. For a long time he analyzed historical data on international armed clashes over the last two centuries and came to the conclusion that periods of ceasefire and major conflicts alternate in history, so World War III probably cannot be avoided.
Aaron reports that the longer a conditional world lasts on a planet, all the more fragile it is. It is clearly visible now when friction between different states (Russia, USA, China, North Korea, etc.) are becoming more intense. Not less until a new major conflict between powerful superpowers, we most likely will not survive. Historical patterns, according to mathematics, indicate that the third World will begin around 2150. Clauset notes that the conditional world will last before this for about 140 years.
