A photo open source American entrepreneur and philanthropist Bill Gates says infections kill humanity sooner than any country will press the big red button. According to multibillionaires, today it’s infectious diseases pose a mortal threat to us.
Leaving his company “Microsoft”, Gates, as you know, took up various research projects, most of which aimed at solving the global problems of mankind. The multi-billionaire has become an expert in many areas, including medicine, sociology and ecology.
American reports that every year thanks to viral diseases die millions of people. In some cases, epidemics are difficult prevent, despite all the achievements of modern medicine. In order to study this area thoroughly, the philanthropist created a research group that has already managed to simulate impending infectious disaster.
According to the forecasts of specialists working in this group, with adverse conditions, a new fatal infection may already be behind one hundred days to take the lives of seven hundred and seventy thousand inhabitants of the planet, and after another one and a half days, thirty-three will become its victims million earthlings. Bill Gates notes that in our time, people are very intensively moving between countries and entire continents, helping viruses spread across the earth at lightning speed. And given the fact that bacteria are increasingly able to develop antibiotic resistance, medicine may be powerless before the fatal epidemic.
As for nuclear war, the chances of its occurrence multibillionaire regards as minimal. The American reported: nuclear weapons that many states have already acquired transformed from potential danger into a guarantee that it will never be used.
Note that earlier Bill Gates was worried about too the rapid development of artificial intelligence that threatened to humanity as a matrix or a world rebellion of machines, now, it turns out that the threat comes from a completely different direction.
