Cave paintings are the oldest “written” sources that are graphically but talked about specific events of ancient times quite understandable to us, albeit symbolic language.
A lot of such “stone” paintings created by the world have been discovered. cavemen in the period from 10 to 36 thousand years ago. And the most old cave art was found in Western Europe, mainly in Spain and France, which allowed modern the Spaniards and the French proudly look towards others peoples of the world.
However, this is nothing more than a joke in which, nevertheless, the shadow of truth lurked. And, as the Daily Mail writes, more recently rock painting discovered on the island of Borneo, which is 40 thousand years (at least), and, you understand, the countries of Europe do not have nothing to do. It turns out that the oldest art Paleolithic successfully developed both in Europe and in Indonesia, and it is still unknown why the last region demonstrates only grains of such stone art.

On the one hand, discovered on the island of Borneo a cave drawing tells us that the ancient world was developing not only in Western Europe. And on the other hand, colossal the age of this figure can serve as an explanation of why in Indonesia is not enough of such finds: they are too ancient, bad preserved (this can be seen even in the photo – see above) or completely obliterated by time.
We clarify that the cave drawing of the island of Borneo demonstrates some horned animal (in the picture, we repeat, this is not very clear visible), moreover, a spear is sticking out of the side of the bull or cow, which may serve as evidence of veneration of hunting in that distant time with side of the natives who inhabited this territory of the Earth. That is, we we see not only the oldest art of man, but also his story about difficult life of that distant period in the history of mankind …
