The incredibly devastating Hurricane Michael, which hit southeast coast of the USA, reached the state of Florida. The tragedy has acquired an unusual and somewhat mystical a round when the Americans, watching the disaster news, suddenly noticed a strange “sign” on the air. In satellite image tropical cyclone formed an ominous silhouette, suspiciously looking like a gray skull with bleeding eye sockets. Of course many devout viewers thought it was bad omen, and the indomitable “Michael” is surely destined to carry many human lives.
The news of the mysterious “skull” has become so popular in The World Wide Web that even had to respond to it American climatologists. According to them, we are talking about ordinary pareidolic illusion that appeared on the image of the hurricane just for a second or two. Interestingly, in 2016, a similar silhouette human skull was discovered in satellite photography tropical cyclone “Matthew” over the Caribbean.
