In northern China, archaeologists found during excavations and They opened the royal tomb of about 1000 years old. Agency Xinhua spoke about this discovery.
The tomb, having one chamber and decorated with frescoes, was found in Kailu County.
When the tomb was opened, then various burial items, including gold and glass products. There archaeologists have found a tombstone, which consists of two large granite pieces. Presumably these stones were Delivered from another region.
Judging by the design and structure, the tomb was most likely built during the reign of the Liao dynasty, approximately 916 – 1125. ad. The tomb belonged to the royal person. Scientists have not yet can tell exactly who is in the tomb. Identification may take a long time.
A little earlier at a distance of only one kilometer from this tomb, archaeologists have found a large complex of tombs belonging to royal persons. There used to be a city-state under the name Liao Chao, built in 902 by Yelu Abaoji, who ruled at that time the kagan of nomadic tribes.
