Ancient Egypt gave our civilization many sphinxes, although most people only know about one that stands today with broken nose on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, – about the Big Sphinx.
However, archaeologists constantly find sphinxes all over the planet, in including they still come across in Egypt. Another such The Sphinx, discovered recently in Luxor, became a find.
According to Youm7, this artifact was found completely by accident, due to the fact that on the Alley of Sphinxes between The Luxor and Canary Church began to build a new road: during of this construction the statue was excavated reminds a classical sphinx with a head of the person and with a body the lion.
