During a recent archaeological site on Guernsey in English Channel scientists made a very unexpected discovery. One From the excavated ancient graves, scientists found the remains of a dolphin.
Philip de Jersey and his colleagues discovered a burial ground in which the bodies of medieval monks were buried. However, among of them, to everyone’s surprise, turned out to be the corpse of a marine mammal. The excavation manager reports:

Some researchers have suggested that dolphins could bury here to eat later. They say monks don’t I wanted to dig a special hole, so they put their prey to a grave intended for someone.
