Mitar Tarabić (1829-1899) was a peasant from Serbia, whom God and Providence awarded with unusual abilities – he could predict the future. Mitar did not know literacy about his visions told the local priest Zakhari Zakharich (1836-1918), and he wrote down prophecies in a notebook.
Today this priceless manuscript is kept by the great-grandson of Zakharich Dejan Malenkovich. Tarabich’s predictions with amazing accuracy began to come true in the twentieth century after the overthrow of the Serbian royal dynasties of Obrenovichi.

Tarabich predicted many fateful events of the twentieth century: the murder Serbian King Alexander and his wife Draghi in 1903, the beginning wars between the countries of the Balkan Union and Turkey (1912) and victory in it of Serbia and its allies (Bulgaria, Greece and Montenegro), the beginning of the First World War (1914), the Nazi attack Germany to Yugoslavia (1941) and the victory of the Soviet Union, the establishment of the communist regime of Tito in Yugoslavia, the war on Balkans in 1991-1995, the invention of television, computer and Internet and more. All that Tarabić predicted regarding Slavic peoples and states, including Yugoslavia and Russia, came true with incredible accuracy and consistency.
