Photos from open sources

Incredibly beautiful artificial staircase in India consisting of 3,500 steps that allow people to go down for water all year round. Despite the open architecture, the temperature at the bottom the well does not exceed 5.5C. It is made of dark porous volcanic stone, allowing water to seep through the walls and bottom, as well as replenishing rainwater from above. This object classic hindu architecture with a 1200 year history is no less significant than the famous Taj Mahal.
