Russian and American scientists designed automated event monitoring system – precursors earthquakes, evaluating the received images from space. About it said an employee of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergey Pulininets.

Pulinets also said that similar anomalies arose for several days before the earthquake. Depending on certain geological conditions and time of day observations are possible as positive and negative anomalies. The scientist added that in the future, researchers also noted occurrence of thermal anomalies in seismically active places, which also seen from satellites.
