It happened the other day in Thailand. Hospital Young Doctor Rajaviti in Bangkok, 25-year-old Varanya Nganthavi graduated the first day of work in this clinic, when I came to see her patient complaining of pain in the ear.
According to the Thai, discomfort and then ear pain appeared he had two days ago, but the man was hoping that everything would pass by itself. But … the pain did not disappear, but only intensified, and therefore he turned to doctors for help.
What was the surprise of Varania when she realized that in the ear some living creature is moving, apparently, crawled there insect. The doctor instilled in the ear necessary in this case medicines and asked the man to hold his head tilted. But the “guest” did not want to get out of the Thai’s ear, and therefore he had to be pulled out with tweezers.
To the greater surprise of the young doctor, pull out of his ear the patient didn’t have an insect, but a small gecko lizard, known in this country as Jing Jock.
After this generally simple extraction procedure foreign body from the ear, the patient joyfully informed that he is now he hears perfectly and nothing bothers him, nothing hurts. Here only Varanya Nganthavi herself remained perplexed: like a lizard hit the ear and also lived there for two days? After all, the gecko before the operation was still alive and moving, hurting a man …
