British resident Holi Hines, who was born without a uterus, in 28 years old became the mother of two twins. Kids were born at assisted in vitro fertilization.
Holi was 19 years old when the doctors diagnosed her with a terrible: she will never be able to give birth to a child, since genetically represents a man (missing the main genital organ). The girl began severe depression, she did not believe that she would meet a man who will love her. Holi didn’t go on dates since didn’t know how to tell a stranger about androgenic syndrome the insensitivity that she suffers and that she only looks like a woman.
However, Holi’s childhood friend, Sam, managed to dispel these fears. The young people got married, and Holi, at the insistence of her husband, began again treatment. And during the next examination, the doctor found in women an underdeveloped tiny uterus that others have not seen the doctors.
Holi started taking hormonal drugs to create an environment favorable for the growth of his uterus. Spouses spent on treatment almost all of their accumulation, because the possibilities of medical insurance was not enough. Doctors before IVF warned the patient that the probability of becoming pregnant is 60 percent.
The woman received two fertilized eggs, which took root. In due time, two were born to Holi twin girls named Darcy and Avery.
