Three reporters who are employees of the famous South African Broadcasting Media Holding Corporation “, have been robbed live. Tens of thousands spectators could watch crime from screens in real time their televisions.
The incident occurred in Johannesburg – the largest city Republic of South Africa. Journalists calmly filmed the evening report on the work of a local hospital called Milpark. Woo Mwoko, executive editor, was just getting ready to start the story, when the young people passing by stopped, surrounded him and film crew, demanding to give away wallets and mobile phones.
Attackers pushed the reporter from continuing to shoot originating cameras. When Mvoko refused to give cash, he began to threaten with a pistol. The crew of Sophie Mokoene and Kriseldy Lewis were also intimidated by firearms. The robbers nevertheless took money from journalists and fled crime.
The young people, apparently, did not even suspect that they were being filmed on camera, and viewers from all over the country will see their faces. For some reason, the attackers did not (or guessed) take away an expensive shooting equipment that costs many times more than all the values held by journalists.
